Massimo Guarini, director of Shadows of the Damned with Suda 51 and Shinji Mikami, is currently working on a PlayStation Vita game, Murasaki Baby, and it will be at Nordic Game 2014. At the event, Massimo will discuss emotional storytelling in his talk entitled “LOVE ME, BABY - Quest for Emotional Design.”
Murasaki Baby was first revealed at Gamescom last year. It’s a side-scrolling puzzle-platformer developed by Ovosonico, an indie studio which Massimo Guarini formed after leaving his direction position at Grasshopper Manufacture.
In Murasaki Baby, the main character - known as Baby - must be guided through the world using the Vita touch pad. The game will have four playable worlds and should take about four hours to complete.
No specific release date has been given, but Murasaki Baby is scheduled to be released digitally some time this year for the PlayStation Vita. In the meantime, check out the announcement trailer below.
