According to a recent domain registration, Just Cause 3 may be in development - and it might be coming in 2015.
On April 22, JustCause3Game.com was registered by CSC Corporate Domains, a company used by Square Enix and other companies to register URLs in the past. Websites for Tomb Raider, Hitman, and Nosgoth, all games published by Square Enix, are registered with CSC.
Additionally, Christofer Sundberg, founder and chief creative office at Avalanche Studios, had an unannounced sandbox action game listed in his LinkedIn profile. He mentions in his profile that the game is “scheduled for completion in June 2015 for next-generation console platforms.”
Just Cause 2 was released in March of 2010 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, and received generally positive reviews. Square Enix has yet to comment on the news, but there might be a chance that Just Cause 3 is revealed at E3. We’re hoping to hear an update soon.
