Blizzard To Implement ‘Fireside Gatherings’ in Hearthstone

Since coming out of beta and having a full release, and making the move over to iPad, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, which we scored a well-deserved 10/10, has taken the strategy card game community by storm with its simple and addictive gameplay.

To top off the wild success of Hearthstone, Blizzard has announced a new initiative to build community within the strategy card game. Called “Hearthstone Fireside Gatherings,” the event allows players to gather together for a collection of events, with planned real-life meet-ups at places such as college campuses, game stores and coffee shops.

The Fireside Gatherings are currently set to begin on April 26th. You can check out a full list of locations for gatherings on Blizzard’s official page for the event. Additionally, you can create and coordinate your own event in your local community, so if you ever wanted to gather around the Hearth in real life, now would be the chance.
