ArenaNet, developer of Guild Wars 2, has announced the first new feature pack for the MMO since the game launched back in 2012.
The feature pack is the first step in ArenaNet’s move towards updating features and game systems. In the future, these updates will be a separate entity from the usual living world releases, which provide players with new story experiences.
The first feature pack add the megaserver system. This is designed to allow players to search for game maps populated with friends, guild members and similar players. It also includes a new wardrobe system as well as changes to PvP and whole bunch of new character traits. Last but not least, there have been changes to runes and sigils, improvements to the Looking For Group tool, balance changes to critical damage and more.
The update is available now to all players free of charge - all you need to do is log in to the game client to start downloading.
More information for the feature pack is available from the Guild Wars website.
