BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma for Vita dated

The Vita version of Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma will be released on June 24th, publisher Aksys Games has announced.

The new handheld version of the 2D fighting game - previously released on PlayStation 3 - features the full roster of 24 playable characters, while two more will be available to download from the PlayStation Store.

As well as featuring everything from the PS3 version, the Vita port also includes a recap of events from the previous games’ stories, as well as a new story that sees a number of the characters hanging out on a beach together (in swimsuits, naturally).

Also, along with the usual array of modes, the Vita version also sports an enhanced Abyss mode. Abyss mode allows players to tackle increasingly difficult opponents, while spending currency between bouts in order to level up their chosen fighter. Details on how the mode has been enhanced haven’t been mentioned yet; we’ll drop a line to the publisher and see if we can find out.
