The Wii U release of Ubisoft’s next big game Watch Dogs has been a bit of a mystery up until now. After pushing back the release date for the next-gen versions of the game last fall, Ubisoft was staying quiet on the Wii U version, and many wondered if it would be released at all. Early last month when the release date of May 27th was given to almost every version of the game, nothing more was said of the Wii U port, other than “2014 release date a possibility”.

Well today, the official Ubisoft store put up a preorder for the Wii U edition, citing a “Fall 2014” release. This could of course be an error, but it is all we have to go on at the moment.

There is no official word yet from Ubisoft, but we will keep you posted on any developments. In the meantime, check out the newest trailer for the game - it’s looking pretty great.
