Valve has officially announced the dates, locations and ticket prices for The International 2014, its annual championship event for Dota 2 players.
This year, the event has moved to Seattle’s KeyArena. Ticket sales will begin on Friday, April 4th at 3pm PDT and according to the Valve’s game blog, will be available via Ticketmaster.
For those interested in burning a Dota 2 sized hole in their wallets, ticket prices are the following: general admission is $99, floor seats are $199 dollars, and the VIP package is $499. The VIP package includes floor seating, meet-and-greets with VIPs, invitation to the after party, and access to the six days of playoffs that take place on July 8, before the Championships Event itself.
Valve has also recently released the Free to Play documentary, a feature-length film detailing the lives of people who play Dota 2 professionally.
