Pixel Hero Games has announced a 3D action-adventure game based on and titled after the Warhammer 40k story, Eisenhorn: Xenos, written by award winning author Dan Abnett. Xenos is due for release in 2015 on iOS and focuses on a member of the Imperium’s secretive Inquisition, an organization that works in the shadows to protect the Imperium from a wide range of threats.
Eisenhorn: Xenos will be Pixel Hero Games’ second release on iOS, their first being The Spiral Episode 1 which currently has a 4.5/5 star review on the App Store. Meanwhile, Dan Abnett is a rather storied author, having written for many prominent companies including Marvel, DC, 2000AD, Dark Horse Comics, Games Workshop and the Black Library, and the BBC.
iOS releases haven’t traditionally been awe inspiring, but given how protective Games Workshop are of their IP, it’s safe to say it’ll be worth a look.
