Kalypso has released new screenshots for the latest installment in the popular dictate-em-up, Tropico.
Tropico 5 sees the series reinventing itself in some fairly drastic ways. Whereas in previous games you were largely fixed in one time period, in the new game you start your empire in early Colonial times and then nurture it through the centuries.
Of course, no ruler lives forever - and so you’ll need to ensure that your family remains strong so that relatives can take over once you’re gone.
Other features new to the series include scientific research trees, exploration and a significantly revised and expanded trading system.
Tropico 5 is scheduled to be released later this Spring.
