Ubisoft has just released a 14-minute gameplay trailer of the upcoming sandbox hack-em-up, Watch Dogs.

The footage, which you can see above, shows a vertical slice of the game’s free-roaming gameplay, complete with narration explaining some of the concepts and backstory behind the game.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal - who are also behind this year’s installment of Assassin’s Creed, the game is an open-world action-adventure with an emphasis on hacking and stealth. Set in a near-future version of Chicago, Illinois, Watch Dogs casts the player as Aiden Cole and provides you with the tools to hack into people’s phones, bank accounts, and city-wide infrastructure such as power grids and traffic lights.

Watch Dogs is currently expected to release by the end of the year on PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U.
