Microsoft has announced they are dropping the price of the Xbox One in the UK from £429.99 to £399.99; a £30 reduction. This price-cut will take effect on February 28th.
In addition, “whilst supplies last”, consumers will also get a digital version of Respawn’s upcoming FPS Titanfall bundled with the system. Titanfall isn’t released in the UK until March 14, but players were recently treated an open beta weekend. Our man Dan Horowitz got creative about it - check out his impressions of how the game is shaping up.
The Xbox One’s primary competition, the Playstation 4, currently retails for £349.99 - a difference of £50. But it comes without bundled software. Once you factor in the RRP of Titanfall - £54.99 - this bundle makes Microsoft’s console the slightly cheaper option.
