Good news everyone! Microsoft has released the drivers you need to play your PC games with the Xbox One
Larry Hyrb, the program director for Xbox Live and better known by his online handle Major Nelson, announced this morning that the necessary drivers are now available on his blog for all to download.
Microsoft had previously mentioned back in 2013 that PC-controller compatibility would be coming some time in 2014; PC gamers have been waiting with bated breath ever since.
Many gamers (and particularly those of the so-called Master Race) will agree that the best thing coming out of the ‘next gen’ consoles is the new Xbox One controller, and we must agree here at Continue Play. Though the drivers are coming in a future Windows Update, we are downloading them as we type, ready to throw away our cheap-feeling controllers of old for the shiny (matte) new ones of the Xbox One.
