The Xbox One is now available in Japan, nearly 10 months after it launched in North America and Europe in November of last year.

The console can be purchased with the Kinect for ¥49,980 (approximately $480) or without Kinect for ¥39,980 (approximately $380), which is the exact same price as the PlayStation 4 when it launched in Japan.

“Japan has a rich games history and we’re thrilled to bring all that Xbox One has to offer to our fans in-market. We’re committed to making Xbox One the best place to play the biggest exclusives and blockbusters of this generation including Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Titanfall, FIFA 14, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Halo: The Master Chief Collection with access to the highly anticipated Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta – in addition to games like D4 from some of Japan’s renowned creators,” a Microsoft spokesperson said.

Microsoft also listed the games the are currently available. Those titles include Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Thief, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Titanfall.

The Xbox One just released in Colombia and Chile on September 2, and will still be released in 25 additional countries this month, which will make the Xbox One available in 41 territories. The PlayStation 4 and Wii U are already available in Japan, so we’ll see how the Xbox One fares in a market it’s never really performed well in. So far, the Xbox One has shipped around 5 million units since launch, though those figures were released a while ago now.
