Last week, we wrote about how Wildstar Online developers Carbine Studios had released a video showing off the game’s Warplots feature, a PvP mode that sees two teams of up to 40 players each fighting to defend player-built fortresses. Now, Carbine has released another video going into more detail about Warplots, specifically the various strategies and tactics that can be employed by factions in order to secure their victory.

Wildstar Online is currently in closed Beta, with a launch date penciled in for June 3rd on PC. A cartoon-styled sci-fi MMO, the game is mixing things up with some interesting features, such as the ability to customize how you play the game through the Path system, allowing you to specialize in either exploration and puzzle-solving, combat or platforming. Each path has its own unique content not available to players on other paths, and the path you take is independent from your choice of faction, race and character class.

It’s shaping up rather nicely, too - we’ve enjoyed our time with the Beta so far and will be bringing you a preview within the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

In the meantime, check out the latest developer video below.
