According to the Nintendo eShop, the Wii U version of Watch Dogs will be getting some DLC.
Just two months ago, Ubisoft announced that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs wouldn’t get the Bad Blood DLC or any other add-on DLC. If you check the eShop, however, you’ll see two of the available add-on packs Watch Dogs: Conspiracy! and the Access Granted Pack.
The Conspiracy! add-on takes place in a “digital trip,” an alternative reality universe in Watch Dogs where surreal happenings are common place. In this particular digital trip, players will be hunting down cyborgs using their high-tech hacking skills.
The second add-on, the Access Granted Pack, includes three new missions, six extra skins, and several new perks for Aiden. Both these add-on packs were pre-order bonuses for players who pre-ordered the game when it originally came out in May on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Regarding the Bad Blood DLC, it doesn’t look like Wii U owners will see it on their console, but since Ubisoft has already released two DLC packs for the Wii U when they said they wouldn’t, it’s possible Wii U users might see Bad Blood sometime in the future.
The Wii U version of Watch Dogs is out today in North America, and it will be released on November 21 in Europe. For more on the game, check out our review here.
