Weekly Game Deals: February 3rd, 2015

Fan of dollars

Hello, internet.

One of the greatest things about gaming is that around every corner is another deal lurking in the shadows, waiting to lash out, grab your wallet between its jaws, and leave your game list swollen and overflowing. This is especially true of PC gaming, where you can barely move these days for another bundle or digital sale from a growing number of outlets. So, in honor of this, how better to feed the inevitable future episodes of Hoarders: Video Game Library Edition than by cataloging a full list of deals for your viewing - and spending - pleasure.

Humble Bundle

To start us off, the current Star Wars Humble Bundle is open for roughly 2 weeks, with at least $1 netting the buyer Knights of the Old Republic, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, and Dark Forces. Beating the average, $11.17 at time of writing, introduces Battlefront II, Knights of the Old Republic II, and Republic Commandos. Paying $12 or more further adds Empire at War, and the Force Unleashed I and II.

Less than a day left on the Spain-themed Weekly Bundle, Nihilumbra, Spy Chameleon - RGB Agent, and AR-K. Beating the at-the-time $4.20 average nets a further Full Mojo Rampage and Deadlight. Exceeding $10 will add on UnEpic and Pixel Piracy to your haul. Not bad at all.

Humble Mobile Bundle is offering Cartoon Network mobile titles, including several for Adventure Time, Regular Show, and the Powerpuff Girls. Below average includes Regular Show games Best Park in the Uniiverse, Ghost Toaster, and Ride ‘Em Rigby, in addition to Adventure Time: Treasure Fetch. Beating the $6.15 average includes Adventure Time’s Ski Safari and Jumping Finn Turbo, as well as Regular Show: The Great Prank War and CN Superstar Soccer. Exceeding $8 offers Adventure Time: Time Tangle, Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville, and Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake.

Indie Royale

Lurking in a different corner of the internet, the Indie Royale bundles currently available are The Mixer 14 and the Plug-In Digital bundles.

For just a few remaining hours, The Mixer 14 includes Tiny & Big: Grandpa’s Leftovers, Metal Dead, Words for Evil, Rhiannon: Curse of the Four, Slinki, Heroes and Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar, Battleplan: American Civil War, Robowars, Doorways: The Underworld, and The Last Door: The Collectors for $2.49.

With an additional day, the Plug-In Digital bundle includes Raiden Legacy, The Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths, Soldier Vs Aliens, Rage Runner, Type Rider, T.E.C. 3001, Meltdown, Mechanic Escape, Triblaster, and World War One - Centennial at $2.77.

Bundle Stars

Bundle Stars has a wide list of bundles available at various sizes and prices, so instead of listing each game individually, this set will just link the bundles and their prices.

For two weeks, the Apocalypse Bundle will cost $4.99 for 11 apocalyptic or apocalypse-inspired games. For 9 days, the Touchdown Bundle will include a variety of 8 sports games for $1.99. For the next week, the Havoc Bundle will include 10 chaotic games at $2.99 for the full set. For just over a day, the Saints Row bundle includes Saints Row II and III, with the complete set of DLC for the latter at a price point of $4.99. The final bundle from the list, for just under a day, is the Codemasters Raising Hell bundle, sitting at $3.49 for 9 games.

Indie Game Stand

For players interested in paying as they’d please, the current game on offer from Indie Game Stand is Raining Blobs, which is available as a “pay what you want” model for the next 70 hours.

Playstation Network

In the US, PSN is offering a wide host of sales, including a GTA sale, a Resident Evil sale, and a Rock Band Sale. All of these in addition to their normal weekly deals, which update at roughly 3 PM (EST) on Tuesdays. (Although the time for all deals will vary.)

Xbox Live

On Xbox Live, the current spotlight is on Nordic games, offering a group of digital discounts including various Red Faction and Darksiders games in addition to other titles. Beyond those spotlit, there are a number of sporadic games on discount, found here.

Nintendo Network

Over on Nintendo’s side of the console pond, US customers have is a current Throwback sale for around a day, offering a mixture of Mario and Metroid games. A new set of games to follow starting at 9 AM (Pacific Time) on February 3rd.

And that’s it for this week’s deals, tune in next week for more wallet-cringing excellence to make your games list explode bigger and brighter than your significant other when they realize how much you’ve spent on games. If we’ve missed a deal you like, or a site that usually offers great deals, feel free to let us know in the comments.
