Ubisoft has announced that Watch_Dogs will receive a simultaneous worldwide release date on May 27th.
Delayed since its original scheduled launch of November last year, Watch_Dogs sees you take the role of Aiden Pierce, a vigilante hacker who can tap in and manipulate his environment through the use of his cell phone. Set in a near-future version of Chicago, players are given the freedom to explore as they wish while attempting to uncover a vast conspiracy.
The game is due to be released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. A Wii U version will release “at a later date”.
In addition, players who preorder on PS3 or PS4 will receive an additional 60 minutes of gameplay. It’s not currently known whether the DLC will remain exclusive, or if it will find it’s way to other platforms at a later date.
