Ubisoft’s massively-hyped and aggressively-marketed open-world hacking game Watch Dogs hasn’t even been out that long, so we can’t imagine there are many people who’ve cleared the huge amount of optional content already on offer. If - somehow - you have managed it, or you’re just looking for something new, the Conspiracy DLC might be just the ticket.
The DLC takes place in a “digital trip”, an alternative reality universe in Watch Dogs where surreal happenings are common place. In this particular digital trip, players will be hunting down cyborgs using their high-tech hacking skills (though shooting them is an option too). The content is available for all versions of the game for $4.99, or free for season pass holders. The season pass can be bought separately for $19.99.
If you’re still unsure whether to get the season pass, or are hesitating to pick up Watch Dogs, you might want to check out our review. We awarded the game 7 out of 10, finding it to be an overall solid experience let down by a weak story and a lack of differentiation from its peers.
