After the success of Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, Ubisoft has revealed that they are planning on releasing a GOTY edition. Named after protagonist Edward Kenyway’s ship, the Jackdaw Edition will be available for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 and will be released exclusively through Amazon in the UK.
The Jackdaw edition of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag releases on March 28th and features the full game as well as all previously released DLC content, including the much-praised Freedom Cry DLC, a nine mission self-contained story that stars Edward Kenyway’s first mate, Adewale 15 years after his involvement with Kenway.
Additionally, the Jackdaw Edition features the game’s limited edition missions, which are collected in the Illustrious Pirates Pack, and also features customization options such as the Death Vessel Pack, Kraken Ship Pack and Crusader & Florentine Pack
To round out the long list of additional content, you’ll also get the Blackbeard’s Wrath and Guild of Rogues multiplayer add-ons.

We also featured the title as the ‘Most Improved Sequel’ in our 2013 Continue Play awards, so if you’re looking to sail the high seas but haven’t yet dipped into the water, March 28th would be the perfect time.
