Trine 3 has been announced by Frozenbyte.

Thie third game in the popular physics-based puzzle-platformer series is due for release some time in the second half of this year on PC, though Frozenbyte has said that console versions may follow at a later date.

Details on the new game are scarce, aside from an official description which says “The Three Heroes embark on a new adventure through an enchanting fairytale world full of wonders, puzzles, dangerous foes and strange magic - coming 2015!”

To date, the Trine series has sold over 7m copies - not bad, considering that Frozenbyte is known for little else aside from the Shadowgrounds series.
