2014 marks the 11th annual Pokémon World Championships; a tournament where players battle it out to see who is best at the latest entry into the core Pokémon series and the long-running Pokémon Trading Card Game. It was revealed today that the event will be held August 16-17 in Washington D.C.
To ensure that only the best of the best are competing in the world championship, Road to Worlds, a series of national level tournaments, will be held at various locations across the globe from May 3. Victorious players will be entered into the Pokémon World Championships.
