In a recent Twitter post, Mimimi Productions announced that The Last Tinker: City of Colors will not be available as planned for Xbox One.

The Last Tinker‘s positive reception from critis and players alike encouraged Mimimi Productions to adapt the game for console play and released a PS4 edition in August. But despite its initial success, it failed to capture the attention of gamers. On Twitter, the developer stated: “Sales are too low for PS4, Xbox One has significantly less units out there, we have to port ourselves, Sim-Ship-issues.”

The Last Tinker is a platforming game designed available on Steam for PC and Linux. Set in Color City, players take the role of Koru, a young tinker with the ability manipulate colors. Using this ability he battles against an insidious force known as the Bleakness. Dale reviewed the game upon its release for PC back in May, scoring it a respectable 8/10 and praising the game’s unique art style and gameplay blend of The Legend of Zelda adventuring with the platforming sensibilities of Jak and Daxter, despite its relatively short length and lack of overall challenge.
