The Golf Club silently launches on PC and Xbox One

The Golf Club, developed by HB Studios, was silently released earlier today on Steam and Xbox One without a major announcement or publicity stunt. It’s essentially a golf simulator with a rather impressive graphical edge, procedurally generated courses, online gameplay, tournaments, and tours. It’s currently retailed at £26.99 on Steam and £27.99 on Xbox One and its trailer can be viewed below.

HB Studios is a relatively unknown game developer which may explain the lack of publicity surrounding their new release, even though they have experience in the sporting simulator world after having done numerous ports for popular EA Sports games to make them compatible on other consoles such as the Wii version of FIFA 12.

The Golf Club is currently available on PC and Xbox One with plans for a Playstation 4 release later this month.
