As we move closer to the April 4th PC and Mac release date of the highly anticipated MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online, more details regarding subscription discounts and the length of in-game campaigns have been revealed by game director Matt Firor.
Speaking with MMO hub Zam, Firor revealed the following regarding subscription discounts for people who have purchased multiple subscriptions months:
“Yes, you can expect to get a discount for buying multiple-month subscriptions and we accept a variety of payment methods including PayPal, WebMoney, etc in addition to the ones you’d expect.
While it was not specified how much the discount would be, it certainly lets us know that Bethesda takes gamers MMO commitments seriously, and plans to reward that monetarily.
As an added bonus, Firor revealed that Cyrodiil campaigns would last for a total of 90 days to start, but that “Over time, we [they] may consider adding new rulesets.”
There has been much in the way of speculation about the subscription model that will be used for The Elder Scrolls Online, but this statement confirms that Bethesda is willing to give incentives to players who are committed to the long-run of highly anticipated MMORPG.
While it hasn’t been confirmed that this subscription discount will apply to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the title, which launch in June, chance are that this will likely be the case.
