Ubisoft has released the first gameplay trailer for The Crew, their open-world racing MMO in development by Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections.

In addition to the new footage, they’ve announced that the game will be released this Fall for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Crew features a giant open-world recreation of the United States. The new trailer shows glimpses of Los Angeles Harbor, New York City and the Appalachian Mountains as 4 cars race it out, swerving through heavy traffic, crashing into barriers and generally driving at speeds which would are most definitely not particularly safe.

Also announced is that from today, prospective players can win rewards through a treasure hunt. Hidden around various screenshots, trailers and other things will be Golden License plates. Enter the license plate numbers on the treasure hunt’s dedicated website and you’ll be able to unlock “in-game rewards, goodies and mystery rewards” - presumably playable cars, free copies of the game and other bits and bobs.

Check out the new trailer below.
