According to British retail website Tesco.com, Dark Souls II is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The listing has it priced at £55.00, and lists the release date as December 31, 2014. That is most likely a placeholder date, which means we could see a new-gen version of Dark Souls II by this year.
Dark Souls II originally released in March for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and in April for the PC. The game has been well received, and it also did well commercially, selling 1.2 million copies in its first three weeks in North America and Europe. After its success, many fans have been vocal in wanting the difficult RPG to be released on new-gen consoles as well.
From Software has yet to comment on the listing, but we’ll update you when more is revealed. In the meantime, you can check out our review of Dark Souls II here.
