A new gameplay trailer for Rainbow 6 Siege was revealed at Ubisoft’s E3 conference.
Quite a lot was already known about Rainbow 6 Siege. It’s going to feature the crisp, tactical gameplay that fans of the series know and love. However, some people feared that Rainbow 6 Siege might not contain a great deal of content, but, thankfully, such fears have been quashed with the reveal that terrorist hunt is returning to the franchise.
For those who haven’t had the pleasure of playing this mode before, it pits you and up to three friends against AI controlled opponents as you seek to eliminate a terrorist threat. Rainbow 6 Siege will feature various terrorist hunt game types across many different maps. This will give the game almost unlimited replayability (I speak from experience, I played terrorist hunt to death in Rainbow 6 Vegas).
The gameplay that was shown was being recorded live in front of the E3 audience. A team of four were attempting to disarm a bomb that terrorists were trying to defend. We were given a great showcase of the incredibly crisp gameplay in Siege, including lots of new gadgets, wonderfully destructible environments and terrifyingly effective AI.
Oh, and Angela Bassett also lends her voice and likeness to this installment, which is a nice touch.
Rainbow 6 Siege is set to release on October 11th this year, take a gander at the E3 presentation below.
