Super Meat Boy developers Team Meat have released a teaser for a new game, A Voyeur for September.
The game has been described as a live-action stealth game, which could explain the creepy stalker footage in the trailer, which seems to show someone spying on a woman as she walks through her living room. Live action stealth - whatever that even means - is a big step away from the usual games Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes bring to the table.
Mew-Genics, the cat-breeding simulator the team has been working on - we know, it’s weird - has been put on hold until A Voyeur for September has been released, as explained on McMillen’s blog.
This is all a bit strange and people around the internet have picked up on it. Many out there have realized that A Voyeur for September is in fact an anagram of Super Meat Boy Forever. Coincidence? Of course not.
There’s no news on when this game will be coming out, but according to the PAX listing where the game will be showcased, it’s coming to PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and “physical”, whatever that means.
