The creatively-named Superhot Team has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their creative time-twisting FPS Super Hot.
Work on Super Hot began back in August 2013 where the team developed the core game during the 7 Day FPS Challenge. The attention and positive feedback generated by their work prompted the team to begin development on a full retail release.
At the time of writing, the team has already exceeded its target goal of $100,000 in less than 24 hours, and has gained 4,500 backers.
At first glance, Super Hot is a rather bleak grey-white game with not a lot to say for itself; but it features a unique twist. When you’re not moving, time slows to a crawl. You can see individual bullets coming toward you and react to them. Let your inner Neo roam free!
All potential backers can try the game out for themselves, as the developer has provided a five-level demo so you can see what the fuss is about.
