As we all know, summer is the time of sunshine, joy, heat and happiness (at least in the Northern Hemisphere) and coincidentally it is also a time of wallet-emptying and taking out loans to be able to pay off the massive debt left over by arguably one of the biggest gaming events of the year, the Steam Summer Sale. Starting on June 19 and lasting two weeks, this sale will knock down the prices of practically every game found on the Steam store to an almost ridiculously low price.
Now do you understand why it’s wallet-emptying? Our advice is that you get a decent supply of snacks, beverages and enough paracetamol to last you the entire two weeks as you work your way through countless games and countless overdrafts as Gabe Newell prepares for the oncoming swarm of excited gamers.
The Steam Summer Sale will begin on June 19 and end on June 30, no specific times have yet been announced so we recommend that you keep an eye out on their store during the day.
