Since the IP of Sacred was acquired by Deep Silver, a third entry in the franchise has yet to have been released. That is all about to change with Sacred 3, which focuses the game in a very co-operative direction, having 4 player co-op on at all times.
For those unfamiliar with the Sacred franchise, Sacred 3 promises to bring back classic hack-and-slash action with deep customization RPG elements. Take a look at the game’s trailer below, which shows off in a lighthearted way the competitive aspect of the game, complete with an awesome character wearing no armor but having heavy shoulder pads.
Sacred 3 releases in North America on August 5th and Europe on August 1st for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
