Are you a fan of indie musical darlings Radiohead?
If so, then you might be interested to know that they’ve just released a new mobile game for iOS and Android.
The game, called PolyFauna, is a joint collaboration between the band and Universal Everything, a digital art and design studio who worked with the band on their last album The King of Limbs.
More of an abstract experiment than an actual game, players are tasked with exploring different environments and using their finger to draw shapes into the world, before following a red dot into the next stage. You can also share your experiences with others, which show up as a news feed on the band’s website.
Both visuals and music are taken from the song Bloom.
Yorke says that the game “comes from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious”.
