GameCrafterTeam’s latest game, Project Nimbus, has smashed its Kickstarter goal of £6,000, with over £13,000 in funding. GameCrafterTeam’s previous work includes HyperSonic 4, and Smash Cat.

Project Nimbus is a high-speed, action mech game. The player-controlled mechs, known in the game as BattleFrames, are heavily powered pieces of machinery that fly, shoot, and blast their way through enemies.

Project Nimbus allows players to fly freely through the sky, allowing players to dodge, strafe, and engage in any way they see fit. Every BattleFrame encountered in the single-player campaign, will be playable.

The game is set in the future, after war has effectively destroyed the surface of the planet. Mankind has since fled to the skies, the only life-bearing ecosystem left of Earth.

Project Nimbus has already been Greenlit on Steam, and will be available for Mac and PC.

We previously discussed Project Nimbus when their Kickstarter drive started shortly before Christmas.
