Grinding Gear games published a fantastic April Fool’s yesterday, informing people that the game was to become pay-to-win; in the video published on their Youtube channel - which you can watch below - the developer states that becoming pay-to-win was one of their most-requested features.
“The monetization specialists we spoke to said that we should Nickel and Dime our customers,” the developers says in the video. “If you feel like you haven’t been winning Path of Exile enough recently, why not pay to win?”
