If you’re anything like me, when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was announced back in 2013, your inner child was positively bursting with excitement.
Throughout the delays, the gorgeous trailers CD Projekt Red have been teasing us with, and the anticipation of another RPG which is looking to set a new standard, the release is finally on the horizon. Next Tuesday - the 19th of May - is the day when we’re finally going to be able to play.
In the lead up to the moment, CDPR have decided to tease us one last time, and released this glorious CGI trailer to give us just an idea of what is in store for us over the coming weeks (and potentially the next year, if they live up to their word on the DLC front).
The trailer showcases the witcher, Geralt, as he confronts and fights a Bruxa, a high-vampire which takes on the form of a seductive and beautiful woman when passive, but changes to a more brutal and terrifying form when hungry or attacking.
It’s provocative and vicious, yet beautiful, everything we know and love about The Witcher, both from the books and the games. We’ll be bringing out our review in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned, and check out the trailer below.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set for release on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on 19th May.
