New The Order: 1886 Gameplay

At The Game Awards this past weekend, developer Ready at Dawn showed us a glimpse of The Order: 1886. Then, at the PlayStation Experience event, they gave us a better look at the gameplay.

The footage, which you can watch below, shows the protagonists fighting enemies in a kitchen of an airship. We also get a closer look at the melee combat, and how you will be able to use the environment to kill your enemies.

It still looks very Gears of War, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Epic’s series was one of the high points of the Xbox 360’s life, so if Ready at Dawn can recapture some of that magic with its alternate-reality version of Victorian London, PlayStation players could be in for a treat.

The Order: 1886 is set to launch on February 20th, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
