New Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay footage released.

Warner Bros. has released new gameplay footage of Rocksteady’s upcoming conclusion to its Batman trilogy of games - the first of several planned videos due to be released in the coming months.

In the video below, you can see how the Batmobile figures into the traditional gameplay, get another look at the titular villain, and also see a new type of takedown - the Fear Takedown.

Last but not least, we get to see a new ability - Batman can launch himself straight into the air from the Batmobile, giving him some much-needed height and gliding time. This will no doubt come in very useful, given Rocksteady’s stated desire for Arkham Knight to feature a far more vertical version of Gotham City.

Batman: Arkham Knight is currently scheduled to be released on June 2nd, 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
