Square Enix’s Disney and Final Fantasy mash-up, Kingdom Hearts II, is due for a remastered re-release after the success of the re-release of the first game similarly titled Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix back in September last year.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix is going to include both Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix as well as cinematics from Kingdom Hearts Re:coded which will add over 3 hours of HD remastered cinematics from the original game as well as new unseen content. We can also look forward to seeing the much coveted Trophy Support on this PlayStation 3 exclusive.
We can expect to see Sora, Goofy, Donald and the rest of the gang back on our TV screens in crisp HD on the 2nd of December 2014 with a special Kingdom Hearts Collector’s Pack: HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix Collectors Edition following shortly after. The collector pack features limited edition casing, music, and a booklet with art from the series in addition to the previous material. December is still quite a long wait so until then you’re going to have to be satisfied salivating over these new screenshots.
