Fans of inFamous should have something to look forward to at the end of their summer holidays. Sucker Punch Productions announced yesterday that the standalone DLC for inFamous: Second Son will be available on August 26.
In First Light, you assume the role of Fetch. Fetch was one of the major characters in Second Son, a Conduit who is imprisoned by the Department of The DLC’s trailer depicts her in restraints, and Sucker Punch’s announcement spoke of her taking the fight to Curden Cay, the detention center built to hold and experiment on Conduits. It also revealed this piece of content art, depicting Fetch unleashing her powers.
From the brief flashes of gameplay present in the trailer, First Light looks to continue the series’ blend of parkour and super-power gameplay.
We can’t wait to find out more about Fetch when we get our hands on the DLC, having previously rather enjoyed Second Son despite its flaws - as demonstrated in our review. For the meantime though, we’ll have to settle for watching First Light’s announcement trailer again.
