It turns out that Mega Charizard X isn’t the only fan-favorite character to return to the new Super Smash Bros. Ike, the Fire Emblem heavy hitter and leader of the Greil Mercenaries, will grace the other confirmed fighters with a new look more reminiscent of his adult stature in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.
Although Ike does make an apperance in the latest Fire Emblem: Awakening as a non-canon DLC character, it’s his distant relative Priam who fills his lofty shoes. Still, it’s great to see Ike back in action, if only to swing Ragnell around like a madmen to crack some skulls.
