Hearthmind Allows For Collective Hearthstone Games

Since Hearthstone’s full release and its subsequent iPad version release, Hearthstone has taken the gaming world by storm due to its addictive simplistic gameplay with layers of strategic depth, one of the many reasons that we scored the game 10/10.

Given that the community around Hearthstone has grown considerably, with the creation of the real-life ‘Fireside Gatherings,’ this latest development seems like a natural progression of that sense of community. Launched as Hearthmind, the website allows players to play a collective game of Hearthstone against an online opponent with similar input commands and a voting system to Twitch Plays Pokemon.

However, the main difference here is that Hearthmind is for a multiplayer game, and as such allows users to see other viewers’ votes as grey lines and arrows. Every five seconds one goes orange, designating it as the chosen action based on number of votes.

Fortunately, the in-game timer will prevent any lengthy actions from being taken. You can currently friend request the Hearthmind account and battle them in the multiplayer, or, if you are fortunate (or unfortunate) enough, you may encounter them in random matchmaking.

The Hearthmind account has actually been pretty successful despite trolls meaning to disrupt Hivemind games. Sometimes, a thousand heads are better than one. You can register to play with the Hearthmind account at the official website.
