America, the beautiful. The land of the free. The home of the brave. And now also the recipient of the Independence Day Special in Grand Theft Auto Online. Much like the ironic ‘I’m Not a Hipster’ update, the Independence Day Special offers a variety of satirical weapons and items, including an aptly named ‘Liberator’ Monster Truck, a high-powered musket to enact a 1776 brand of justice, and a Fireworks Rocket Launcher.

This special seasonal content will be available to redeem in-game until Mid-July, although a specific date has not yet been announced. A full list of patch notes can be found here, which do more than just add America-themed content to the game. Now go and enjoy America at its finest (as though Grand Theft Auto V doesn’t satirize the American Dream enough) by enjoying the abundance of screenshots and a gameplay video below.
