The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V are set for release on November 18, Rockstar announced today.
However, PC gamers will have to wait, with the Windows release date set for January 27, 2015.
The game - which has sold over 33 million copies since its release and racked up more than $1 billion in revenue - was originally announced for the current generation of consoles at this year’s E3, following widespread speculation.
The latest editions will feature “major visual and technical upgrades”, with the game featuring an increased draw distance, new weapons, vehicles and activities, including wildlife photography. Along with this comes a more diverse range of animals, heavier traffic, more realistic foliage and enchanced weather effects. The game’s radio stations have also been fleshed out, with 100 new songs and DJ mixes having been added.
If preordered, players will receive $1 million of in-game cash that they can spend in both the campaign mode and the online mode, which will be able to support up to 30 players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Anyone upgrading from last gen will be able to port over their characters from GTA Online.
Dale reviewed the game last year, calling it “a triumph” and giving it a 9/10. You can read through his take on the game here.
