Gamescom 2014: Goat Simulator and more coming to Xbox One

Goat_Simulator_06

During the Xbox briefing at Gamescom today, Microsoft revealed that Goat Simulator will be coming to the system as part of their ID@Xbox publishing program.

Goat Simulator proved to be a viral sensation when it was released in April this year, spawning loads of playthroughs and reaction videos on YouTube. We scored it 9/10 back in March, saying that “Goat Simulator is quite possibly the most ridiculous game ever invented. It induces frequent bouts of laughter, and while the lack of content may make people a little suspicious of its price tag, the amount of hilarity on offer is more than worth the price of admission”. Since our review, a content update was released, adding co-op multiplayer, competitive game modes, and a new map around the same size as the original.

Not only this, but Microsoft also unveiled other indie titles coming to Xbox One, including prison escape simulator The Escapists, Smite, Space Engineers and Super Hot.

Release dates are yet to be announced, so follow us on Facebook and Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed to stay up to date with the latest indie titles.
