Nintendo has announced that Ghirahim, Fi, and The Imprisoned, characters from 2011′s The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, will be joining their upcoming hack-and-slash game Hyrule Warriors.

Additionally, Nintendo released a set of screenshots showing off the characters on their Facebook page.

Fi, who will be playable, was the spirit residing within the Goddess Sword in Skyward Sword. Ghirahim and The Imprisoned will be a part of Hyrule Warriors as villains, but Nintendo has yet to confirm if they will be playable.

Ghirahim was one of the main antagonists in Skyward Sword. In Hyrule Warriors, he can attack with multiple knives in the air, or transforms himself into a giant blade to slash his enemy in a single sweep. He is skilled with swords of all kind, and also good at confusing his enemies with his ability to teleport and by summoning demons.

The Imprisoned, according to Nintendo, can shoot dark energy out of its mouth and stomp the ground to send shockwaves.

We’re hoping Nintendo will show more on these characters soon, but for now you can expect Hyrule Warriors to be released on August 14 in Japan, September 19 in Europe, and September 26 in North America for the Wii U.
