Bioware’s hit MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic expansion pack, Galactic Srongholds, is being released on early access next week.

A new trailer has been released, showcasing the addition of player housing into the game. It shows off strongholds found across four different planets: Dromund Kaas, Tatooine, Nar Shaddaa, and Coruscant. Strongholds can be purchased using in-game credits, or with Cartel Coins from the Cartel Market. Even better, every single house in the game is customizable. Players can display trophies, craft furniture and fill your home with all sorts of items, from pets to mounts to bars. Other players can be invited round as well so you can play host.

Each time a decoration is placed, you earn prestige. Prestige lets you climb the public stronghold directories ladder and make a true name for yourself.

The expansion will also include Guild Flagships, which can be filled with ships and vehicles. These flagships can be docked at various planets and provide powerful buffs to guild members.

This trailer comes with the news that over one million players still log in to the game monthly, even three years after its initial release. EA previously announced that the MMORPG would adopt a free-to-play model, which came into effect in 2012. Since then, around two million accounts have been created. The game is regarded as one of the most successful multiplayer releases based on worldwide revenue and is still believed to be taking in $165 million annually.

The Galactic Strongholds expansion pack is released to long-term subscribers on August 19th, to players with preferred status on September 16th and to everyone on October 14th.
