In case you missed it, Ubisoft showed off a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Unity at GamesCom yesterday. Nothing much is revealed in the trailer, but it does show off a few of the new gameplay features that will take a starring role in the next installment of the franchise. Arno can be seen cutting through a building’s open window, scaling steathily down the side of a building, both of which could provide some key changes to the traditional flow of navigating the world of Assassin’s Creed.
The trailer also gives us an evocative image of how the revolution will effect Arno’s city. While peasants tend to their crops in one scene, in the next, blood stains a street strewn with corpses, and the guillotine hangs ominously in the backdrop.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity drops on October 28 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Check out the GamesCom trailer below.
