Frozen Cortex Receives Substantial Free Update

Frozen Synapse and Cortex developers, Mode 7, have recently announced a free update for the tactical future sports game Frozen Cortex.

The update will include what Mode 7 call “Frozen Cortex Manager”, a mode which will apparently add a deeper simulation to the game. This update adds a number of things to the game, including player stats and injuries, the ability to bid on free agents and manage your salary cap, different formations, and match simulation.

Another new addition is a 90-team college league which will feature an end-of-season tournament and a bracket that you can fill with your predicted winners. Various bug fixes on old features are also said to be included. You can watch the trailer for the free update below:
