Forza Motorsport 5 is Free to Play this weekend

Forza_5_01

Last month, Microsoft snuck in their “Free Play Day With Gold” program in which a game will be available to play for free for a limited amount of time. The program is now officially underway, as Microsoft has announced that this weekend Forza Motorsport 5 has been unlocked for a temporary download for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. If you’ve ever wanted to race around in luxurious automobiles for free, now’s your chance. The game is currently available, and will be until 11:59 p.m. PDT this Sunday.

Achievement junkies need not fret - any Gamerscore earned through Microsoft’s Free Play Day program will be retained after the weekend is over.

Interestingly, players in the United States will be able to qualify for an all-expenses paid trip to Arizona to be taught how to drive like a pro by Bob Bondurant, who according to Microsoft “has been at the forefront of professional driving instruction since 1968.” If you find yourself desperately wanting to recreate your sweet maneuevers in Forza 5 in real life, this Sweepstakes is an exciting opportunity.
