Dong Nguyen, developer of the highly difficult, highly addictive mobile game Flappy Bird, is set to release a new game.
According to TouchArcade, Swing Copters is set to release August 21st as a free purchase with ads and a $0.99 purchase without.
Unlike Flappy Bird, Swing Copters has you moving up through a level instead of left to right. Due to the swinging hammers, it seems Swing Copters is a much more difficult game than its already difficult predecessor. The game retains its one-tap control scheme.
Flappy Bird gained incredible amounts of infamy. After it was revealed that Nguyen made up to 50,000k in ad revenue on Flappy Bird, he was the subject of considerable scrutiny. Shortly after, Nguyen removed Flappy Bird from the Google Play store and the App Store.
